Day 01

Once you arrive at your accommodations in Negombo you can relax and even take in the serene ambiance of the coastal city.

Explore Negombo on this day making stops at the immaculate beaches and vibrantly colored church structures. Make use of the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on your way to Sigiriya. It’s a remarkable location to witness the infant elephants.

Climb Sigiriya Rock which is considered to be one of Sri Lanka’s most visited tourist destinations. The stairs leading to the summit which was formerly the location of the monarch’s palace are guarded by the renowned enormous lion paws. To learn more about the island’s remarkable records visit Polonnaruwa City’s historic residences in the afternoon.

Discover the stunning palaces, reservoirs and modern irrigation systems of Anuradhapura, one of Sri Lanka’s most significant cities. Take an exciting jeep safari through Minneriya National Park in the afternoon to see the wild elephants and other fascinating creatures.

You will travel to Kandy on this day. The UNESCO-designated Dambulla cave shrine is visited en route. The temple’s five caves are decorated with old and inventive craftsmanship on their walls and ceilings. Prior to visiting Kandy, take a stroll through the spice garden.

Take a trip to Kandy, a bustling city that offers fantastic shopping opportunities for products made specifically in Sri Lanka. Go through a lot of the stores that sell silk gemstones batiks and wood carvings. After taking a walk through the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Enjoy a cultural performance to cap off the day in the evening.

Proceed to Nuwara Eliya this day and experience the breathtaking vistas of the verdant tea farms. Witness a tea manufacturing factory whilst admiring the beautiful Ramboda Falls.

Journey to Hortain Plains, a well-known trekking destination. You will have the opportunity to trek to the World’s End and Bakers Falls.

This morning, take a picturesque train trip to Ella, which gives amazing views of tea plantations, reservoirs, waterfalls, and tunnels.

Travel to Yala National Park, one of the most famous parks in Sri Lanka, where you will go on Jeep Safari. See Sri Lanka’s wild Asian elephants and leopards.

Spent some time this morning touring Galles amazing Dutch Fort. In Asia it is among the few surviving examples of a colonial sea castle. Enjoy the scenery while taking a fantastic boat safari down the Madhu River. Travel to a turtle farm the following day to see baby turtles. Spend time with your family and create memories by taking a walk along the sandy Galle coastline. On your last day in Galle, enjoy some fun water sports at the Bentota River.

Depart from Galle, and travel to Colombo for a city tour, depending on available time.
