Tour Highlights

Day 01

Arriving in Negombo, a seaside city known for its vibrant fish markets and superb beaches, marks the start of your tour. Relax for a while while taking in the beauty of the seaside city.

Day 02

Take a trip to Kandy and Forestall in Chilaw to see the ancient temples of Munneswaram and Mannarwari. Respected as sacred sites of pilgrimage, these well-known Hindu temples honor Lord Shiva. After that take a quick city tour to discover the cultural highlights of the historic sites including the beautiful Kandy Lake and the highly revered Temple of the Tooth Relic.

Day 03

Furthermore take the Ramayana tour and visit Nuwara Eliya also known as Little England. Seetha Amman Kovil in Nuwara Eliya and Sri Baktha Hanuman Kovil, two sizable Hindu pilgrimage sites, are connected to the Ramayana epic.

Day 04

Proceed to Bandarawela, a hill village encircled by misty mountains and lush tea plantations. Go to Gayathri Pedam, a calm Hindu shrine honoring the goddesses Gayathri and Divurumpola, the location where Sita and Agni Pariksha first met in the Ramayana.

Day 05

Explore Ella, a charming little town with an antique feel that is well-known for its stunning surroundings and tumbling waterfalls. See the thrilling Ravana Caves and the more than 80-meter-tall Ravana Falls which are thought to be the hiding place of the demon King Ravana from the Ramayana. Once you’ve had a chance to appreciate all the beauty, travel to Kataragama, a city that is revered by Muslims Hindus and Buddhists worldwide.

Day 06

Take in Kataragama spiritual surroundings by visiting the well-known Lord Murugan temple. Discover the must-see coastal locations of Ussangoda where Hanuman is said to have landed during his search for Sita. Visits to the Seenigama Temple in Hikkaduwa, the Rumassala Temple in Galle and the Sri Anjaneyar Temple in Colombo might also be part of this day.

Day 07

Conclude this most memorable tour on this day. If time permits, experience the Colombo city with a quick city tour!
